Introduction

Thinking in a graveyardDeath need not be the end.

The apostle Paul says that our caring God can raise us from the dead. He explains that Jesus' resurrection shows that we can be raised as well.

Questions

1. What three things does Paul want them to know happened to Christ?

v 3 and 4 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,

2. What are the first three consequences that Paul says there are if there is no resurrection?

v 13 and 14  But if there is no resurrection of the dead, neither has Christ been raised.  If Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain, and your faith also is in vain.

3. What is the last enemy that Christ will abolish?

v 26 The last enemy that will be abolished is death.
