Introduction
We are introduced to the prophet Elijah. He prophesied in the northern part of the divided kingdom in the reign of king Ahab.

- v 1 to 7 After Elijah warns king Ahab of a future drought, God tells him to go to the brook Cherith, where he will be fed by ravens. Eventually the brook dries up
