2. For what reason does Jesus say that Moses allowed divorce?

v 8 ... “Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, allowed you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it has not been so.

3. What warning does Jesus give to people who have riches?

v 23 and 24 ...  Most certainly I say to you, a rich man will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven with difficulty. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye, than for a rich man to enter into God’s Kingdom.”

  • v 1 to 12 When questioned about divorce, Jesus explains that marriage ought to be for life. Jesus then says that some will not be able to accept this
  • v 13 to 15 Children are brought to Jesus and he says that the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to people like these little children
