v 36 and 37 Anna ... didn’t depart from the temple, worshipping with fastings and petitions night and day.

3. In verse 48 Mary says ... “your father and I were anxiously looking for you.” But in reply, who did Jesus imply his father was?

v 49 “Why were you looking for me? Didn’t you know that I must be in my Father’s house?” (God was his Father)
